GeoSagasTM are a team of professional geographers dedicated to advancing K-Grey integrated learning opportunities of subjects related to our planet and its inhabitants. We believe that teaching though integrating subjects and immersive learning is the best way to develop understanding and excitement in the learner. Our world is beautifully rich in diversity and complexity. Exploration of the relationships that weave this richness together inspires learners and educators to engage more fully in specific content areas such as math, science, and civics. GeoSagasTM accomplished this through the subject of geography. As “Everything happens somewhere”, the geographer has always known that educating through place based examination produces deep understanding of location, and the distinct conditions that produce the unique characteristics of places. This requires building knowledge across many subjects. Intrinsically bringing subjects together geographically sets learners to develop an understanding that questioning must be drawn from across disciplines to produce a holistic understanding that results from critical thinking, collaboration, solution identification, along side intellectual and technical skill development.
